Ipswich High School Athletic Hall of Fame Nominations
The Ipswich High School Hall of Fame has been established to honor athletes, coaches and persons who have made a substantial contribution to the Ipswich High School Athletics Program in order to recognize and preserve their accomplishments and memories.
ARTICLE IX - NOMINATION AND ELIGIBILITY
SECTION 1: Membership in the Hall of Fame is open to those individuals who have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics, made a significant contribution while a student or coach at Ipswich High School, and who have displayed sportsmanship and have brought honor and distinction to Ipswich High School.
SECTION 2 - ATHLETES: To be eligible the athlete shall have attended and participated at least two (2) years at Ipswich High School and have been part of a class that has graduated at least ten (10) years prior to the nomination for election. Consideration may also be given to outstanding performances during the nominees' college, amateur and professional athletic career.
SECTION 3 - COACHES: To be eligible, coaches shall meet the following minimum criteria: They must have coached for at least five (5) years at Ipswich High School and must have coached for at least ten (10) years in their sport. They must also be out of coaching for the sport nominated in for at least one (1) year prior to nomination.
SECTION 4 - MERITORIOUS SERVICE: To be eligible for selection for the Hall of fame for meritorious service, individuals must have made a significant contribution to Ipswich High School athletics.
ARTICLE VIII - NON-DISCRIMINATION
The Ipswich High School Hall of Fame Committee shall not discriminate in its policies, solicitations or selection on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or national origin.
